About The Artist
Born in England, David Liburd embarked on his illustrious career as a skilled picture framer in the vibrant city of Leicester. Demonstrating exceptional talent, he swiftly rose to the role of manager at a locally owned franchise. Relocating to London, David continued to hone his craft at prestigious establishments such as Blackman Harvey Picture Framers of Seven Dials in Covent Garden and John Jones Picture Framers of Essex Road in the Angel of Islington—both renowned as picture framers to The Royal Family.
After a few years in London, David decided to make a significant move to New York, marking the beginning of a transformative chapter in his career. During the initial years, he dedicated his expertise as a picture framer in Brooklyn and Manhattan, particularly in the lively district of Soho. Expanding his reach, David seamlessly transitioned into the realm of art installation, showcasing his talents in various settings including corporate offices, galleries, private institutions, residencies, collectors' spaces, city and state offices, as well as schools and universities.
With a rich background working for upscale designer moving companies, David ventured to establish his own enterprise, catering to the needs of interior designers, architects, and private collectors. He founded Advanced Level Installations, a company committed to delivering top-tier services in the realm of custom art framing and installation.
